The tower have a high of 56 meters. Leaning Tower of Pisa is world famous, not only for its beautiful looks, but mainly for its heavy tilt. It is one the the most heaviest leaning tower in the world. This tower has listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also as the world's most famous tower, where many tourists going there to travel.

The main purpose of the construction of the tower is to show the world the wealth and power of the city of Pisa. The Leaning Tower of Pisa took almost 200 years to build, beginning in August 1173. It took long time to complete the construction because of the interrupted several times by wars, debt and while engineers worked on solutions to correct the lean.

The tower started to lean during construction because the tower was built on soft ground. It began to lean in 1178 once construction on the second floor had begun. Over the years several renowned architects put their heads together to come up with a solution to stop the tower from leaning further. Finally they decided to remove the ground from under the high side, instead of trying to add ground under the low side and several cable . The restoration work performed in 1990 and closed to public and open again in 2001, the tower learned at an angle of 5.5 degrees before, but now it leaning to more stable about 4 degrees. They believe after the restoration work, the tower can take another 300 years of live.
