Hong Kong Disneyland - Theme Park



Hong Kong Disneyland officially opened on 12 September 2005. It was based on the "feng shui" during development plans until it officially opened to public or started operation. Hong Kong Disneyland is a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It is smallest and Disney's 11th theme park. However, it is the first theme park to be built in China and the second Disney resort attraction in Asia.

The theme park consists of seven themed areas, such as Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, and Toy Story Land. The capacity of park are around 34,000 visitors daily. According to AECOM and TEA, Hong Kong Disneyland has received 6.7 million of visitors in 2012 and is the 14th most visited theme park in the world. Hong Kong Disneyland has about 49.9 hectares of land, and receiving 7.92 million to 8.92 million visitors annually.

The accommodation that offer in Hong Kong Disneyland are 400 rooms in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel with a Victorian theme, and 600 rooms in Disney's Hollywood Hotel with art deco style. Besides, there are restaurants, grand ballroom, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gift shop, and special attraction such as Mickey Mouse inspired maze fronting the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. In Disney's Hollywood Hotel have restaurants, shops, terrace garden and piano shaped pool.
